The rashguard is the single most important branded garment in the no-gi grappling athlete’s training wardrobe. Unlike a T-shirt or hoodie that is worn to and from the gym, the rashguard is worn on the mat, seen by every training partner and every spectator at every class and competition. It is the primary surface for an academy’s visual identity. When an athlete steps onto the competition mat wearing your brand’s rashguard, your club or brand identity is the most visible thing in the room. The quality and design of the rashguard makes a direct statement about the quality of the programme or brand behind it.

We produce rashguards in the two primary fabric constructions that the market specifies. Nylon-spandex at 80/20 is the premium grappling standard — it provides the highest stretch recovery, the smoothest skin-contact surface for minimising mat friction and opponent grip, and the greatest durability under the repeated washing and physical stress of daily mat training. Polyester-spandex at 88/12 is the sublimation-optimised construction, chosen when design quality is the priority alongside functional performance. Both constructions are 4-way stretch throughout, with moisture management and quick-dry properties as standard.

Our rashguards are constructed with the technical details that mat athletes can feel immediately. Flatlock seaming is used throughout — zero raised seam edges, zero chafing under a gi jacket or against a training partner’s skin. The underarm panel is cut with a reinforced gusset for overhead arm movement without seam stress. The hem is finished with a silicone grip strip or a wide ribbed band to prevent the rashguard riding up during takedowns and mat transitions. Neck finish options include crew neck with flatlock collar, high neck with covered seam, and mock neck for additional coverage.

IBJJF belt-rank colour compliance is a significant commercial opportunity for BJJ academy buyers. The IBJJF mandates that no-gi rashguard colour corresponds to the athlete’s belt rank — white for white belt, blue for blue belt, purple for purple belt, brown for brown belt, and black for black belt, with a minimum 10% of the rashguard surface in the appropriate rank colour. We produce full club rashguard sets across all five rank colours, with consistent design templates and only the rank colour changing between belt levels.
