MD COMBAT Custom Compression Shorts are a performance essential across nearly every combat sports discipline. They are worn under MMA shorts for groin protection and freedom of movement, under boxing trunks as a base layer, as standalone training bottoms for no-gi BJJ and wrestling, and as the inner layer beneath board-cut and hybrid competition shorts. Our compression shorts are built from the same technical fabric range we use across our compression shirt programme. Nylon-spandex at 80/20 and 82/18 delivers maximum stretch recovery and durability under the extreme stress of grappling, takedowns, and ground combat. Polyester-spandex at 88/12 is selected for full sublimation printing applications where colour and design quality must meet competition and retail standards. All constructions are 4-way stretch as standard. Compression level is graduated from the waist band to the thigh, providing targeted muscle support for the hip flexors and quadriceps — the primary muscle groups under stress in striking and grappling sports.
Construction precision is critical in this product. Our compression shorts feature a contoured anatomical pattern cut for athletic movement, flatlock seaming at all critical seams to eliminate chafing during mat and cage work, a wide elasticated or jacquard waistband for secure fit during high-intensity training, a covered or open gusset panel for freedom of movement, and optional inner cup-holder pocket for groin protection in striking sports. Inseam lengths are available in 5 inch, 7 inch, and 9 inch options to suit different sports, climates, and buyer preferences.
